I’ve become a big fan of Sunsilk’s Color Boost. It’s like a mild dye you use in the shower in place of conditioner, and it gives a subtle boost to your natural or dyed hair color. You can find formulas for brunettes, blondes or redheads.

I got the original Stila Smoky Eye palette awhile back and I would not recommend it. I used it to zombify myself on Halloween, and it was rather effective. All other attempts at using this palette have resulted in shadow flakes underneath my eyes - only hot if you’re undead.
Just this morning I was trying to line my eyes with the black shadow, and ended up with a mess under my eyes. Black eyeshadow is not the kind of thing you can simply wipe away with a tissue, so I had to remove my eye makeup and start over.
Normally I like Stila so I feel a little bad trashing this product. It’s unfortunate how messy these shadows are because the packaging is so cute. To be honest I could care less about the “talking palette” feature, where you push a button and a woman’s voice tells you how to achieve the smoky eye look.
Here’s my final word on the original Stila smoky eye palette:

Though I haven’t tried it, I’m excited about this new Fiberwig mascara from Sephora. I’ve heard good things about it. Let me know if anybody’s actually tried it, and tell me what you think!

I shouldn’t tell you about this - it will lessen my chances of winning. Allure magazine is giving away tons of free stuff every hour throughout the month of August.
Things go to only the first 100 or so people that submit a form every hour - so keep it quiet!
