Healthy SuperBowl ideas!
January 26th, 2009
Yes the SuperBowl is around the corner. Part of the fun in the experience is eating with family and friends during the game.
As always, the crudite plate with low-fat dipping sauces are always healthier than any of the fried alternative. But eating veggies all night is not fun (or easy) when faced with wings and pizza.
If you plan ahead with healthy snacks, you might stand a chance when faced with temptation. Some other ideas to help you battle your urges to cave in include:
Blue Corn Chips with Flaxseed with salsa are a healthier choice over regular tortilla chips or fried potato chips.

Newman’s Own Organics Pop’s Corn Organic Microwave Popcorn with Light Butter Add parmesan cheese for some fun flavoring

Blue Diamond Whole Almonds are good for you (as long as you don’t over do it) You can always add your own season to spice up these snacks and make it more fun to eat.
