Clarcon has issued a voluntary recall of some skin sanitizers and other skin products marketed under several different brand names. Examples of products that should be tossed include Citrushield Lotion, Dermasentials DermaBarrier, and Antimicrobial Hand Sanitizer, which is pictured here. Losing weight, getting in shape, or just being healthier. These are all very popular New Year’s resolutions that many of us will make by the end of the week. An important part of these resolutions is exercise and physical activities.
While some people turn to their Nintendo Wii Fit for their fitness, some of us need even more activity to really get into shape.
Gym memberships are great but they can also be expensive, and in these tough economic times, it might be hard to justify the $60 or so a month for a membership.
I once purchased a machine for my home which came in very handy for the occasions where I just didn’t have time (or the desire) to make it to the gym. You could hop on in the comfort of your home, watch whatever you want on your television, and not have to worry about other people waiting for your machine, how you look, etc….
One downside to exercising in the home alone I did notice was a lack of motivation. Actually making the effort to go to the gym and being surrounded by other like minded people seems to have a positive influence on your workout versus just working out alone at home. The gym can also provide you with more of a variety of a workout. It really does depend on the individual, their preferences, and their geographic and monetary situations.
You can find some great deals on Craigslist and Ebay on machines by people who bought a machine on whim and never used the machine.

Because of the current state of the economy, it seems like we are all making changes in our spending habits whether it be in our holiday spending or in our beauty routines.
I personally am trying to stretch out a much need hair cut as long as possible, skipping manicures/pedicures, accepting my pale complexion, and searching for cheaper products that still work great.
Instead of hitting the salon for a complete hair coloring, you might want to just touch up those roots with an in store dye. Nice& Easy by Clairol offers a a relatively inexpensive root touch up option. SweetMeg14 says “I love this stuff….it lets you stretch out your time between salon visits so it saves lots of money!”
You can give in and do your own nails! I know the idea might seem scary to some of you but there are some great all inclusive manicure kits that help simplify the process. Ilovegabby1128 recommends the Sally Henson French Manicure kit:
For the fair complexioned that can’t afford the tanning bed at the moment, try a home self tanner that will give you a bronze glow.

Alright, if you are like me then you suffer from allergies in the summer months. For me, allergy season came early this year. Say hello to itchy eyes, sneezing and stuffy noses. I generally take Sudafed or some other over the counter medicine to relieve my symptoms. Unfortunately I always feel stuffy.
Until my girlfriend introduced me to the neti pot. This little coffee pot contraption really helps clear out the nasal passage. It is so bizarre and hard to explain, watch her review for yourself and you’ll see why I think this is the weirdest yet coolest allergy and cold remedy around.

I recently attended a wedding in Colorado. My allergies were in full effect prior to the big day, and I was desperate for anything to prevent the allergies from advancing into an actual cold. I had heard mixed reviews of Airborne but decided to give it a try.
I’m not sure if the vitamins worked, if the fresh mountain air cured me or if it was just a miracle, but I did start to feel better and the sneezing slowed enough that there were no worries of coordinating a box of Kleenex with my dress at the wedding!
