…when I checked my email and received an offer from ExpoTV allowing me to vote for my favorite consumer products (one video each for shampoo, conditioner, hair product, laundry detergent, fabric softener, deodorant, cell phone, and laptop) and express my opinion in a short 1 minute video for each (and get PAID to do it!)…I couldn’t resist.

Beginning in August, we will be implementing some changes on qualifying for upfront payments focused on the availability of the product.
Video creators, there are two new standards that you should be aware of when selecting products to review:
a) The product MUST be available for sale in new condition on the internet to U.S. citizens
b) You should NOT state in the review where you purchased the product
There are a number of reasons why we are moving towards this change. For the full explanation, please read this forum post.

This weekend, ExpoTV member Corbet submitted a review (the first!) of his brand new iPhone, bought at the Apple Store. He shows us what comes in the iPhone 3G box and walks us through all the cool new features of this updated cell phone - including faster internet and GPS.

ExpoTV made a trip to the Apple Store in midtown Manhattan to chat with people waiting on line to buy the new iPhone 3G. We also wanted to talk to folks just after they’d bought this great new gadget to see what their waiting experience was like and what new features they are most excited to try out. A lot of people are really excited about the GPS system on the iPhone 3G, as well as the new applications store and the faster internet access.
