Every now and then at Expo we get questions and requests for random products. Today, I received the following question:
I am trying to attract martians. I need a CD player that will play when plugged in (110) start playing when we have automatic timer attached. It need to do this at a remote area, therefore unattended start at 7:00 A. M. And stop at 11:00 A.M. then restart the next day at the same time automatic. Can you help?
For such a question, I do believe I can make some suggestions:

Today TJ Maxx will be holding a 15% off customer appreciation day. The sale which has no exclusions is nationwide and includes all Marshalls, Homegoods, AJ Wright and TJ Maxx stores.
TJ Maxx has recently been hit with a class action suit for a security breach that affected over 26 million customers. They originally wanted to use a customer appreciation day to resolve the class action suit but were denied. But TJ Maxx is still looking to make good with all consumers by letting anyone take advantage of the savings even if they weren’t caught up in the breach.
So, we all get 15% off of the already very low prices at TJ Maxx even if we weren’t one of the 26 million people who may or may not have had their information accessed.
To find locations near you check out their site.
TJ Maxx carries a variety of products from clothing, to home decor, to random products you never realized you needed. If your New Year’s resolution involves spending less and working out more, this would be a great time to pick up a new workout outfit, a yoga mat or even a Champion Long & Lean Tank reviewed here by BrenWins

We were saddened to hear that one of our longest term and most active members, ksointeriors, recently lost her battle with breast cancer. Her daughter technopagan7 is also a prolific member and has created a video to let the community know and to celebrate her mother.
Please take a moment to watch the video by clicking the image below.

Our thoughts are with technopagan7 and her family. Ksointeriors will truly be missed by all.

Unfortunately for Macy’s fans, Macy’s Inc. said Thursday it will close 11 under performing stores in nine states which will affect 960 employees. Stores slated to close include locations in Los Angeles, West Palm Beach, Fla., Nashville, Tenn., and St. Louis, among others.
While this is horrible news for employees and represents a dim view of the retail economy, it does mean that these stores will have large “going out of business” sales. I would rather keep my local Macy’s in business because I do enjoy many of the lines they carry, but if you are near one of the closing locations, you might as well take advantage of the blow-out sales.

For other ongoing sales and coupon opportunities, check out the Steals & Deals board at Expo.
