The new iPod Nano will come in two versions, 8GB for $149), and 16GB for $179 which is a $20 price cut on the high end. There will also be added features in iTunes 9, like Genius Mixes and VoiceOver control like the iPod Shuffle and Touch.
For the button-less iPod Shuffle there are new colors and a cheaper price tag. The 2GB flavor now runs $59 instead of $79. There’s also a $99, 4GB “special edition” that’s made of polished stainless steel.
The low-end of the iPod Touch line also got price cuts. The 8GB model is now $199, down from $229. But the 16GB model has been shelved in favor of a 32GB version, which costs $299. At the high end, users can now get a 64GB model, which runs $399.

it almost seems like the ipod is destroying all the competitors
