Cisco is acquiring Pure Digital which is the make of the very popular Flip Video. According to Ned Hooper, senior vice president of Cisco’s Corporate Development and Consumer Groups, the “acquisition of Pure Digital is key to Cisco’s strategy to expand our momentum in the media-enabled home and to capture the consumer market transition to visual networking.”
Flip Video is a tiny camcorder that can go almost anywhere because of its small size. You can easily share your video on the web on MySpace, YouTube, and Facebook because of its direct USB connection.

I’ve always hated the stereotype that girls don’t like electronics and video games and only played with Barbie’s and make-up. Instead of buying your daughter another sweater or your sister more lotion maybe you should take a look at some of these electronic products that the geeky girl in your life would love to get.
For the Mom or Mom to be on the go you could opt for this Laptop case/diaper bag. The less she has to carry, the better.

To assist with making Expo videos on the go, the Flip video has been gaining in popularity due its ease of use. You can simply plug it into the USB port and go from there:

Being a sentimental girl, I always have my camera on me to take pictures of friends and family and you can bet any lady would appreciate a brand new camera. The Nikon Coolpix is a nice option. It has a sleek attractive design and all the right features:

The professional (or any) woman in your life will love an update to her cell phone, and the new Blackberry Storm is all the rage.

I choose to protect mine with a cute pink case in case I drop it.

And for the sporty girl in your family, try the Apple Nike iPod Sport Kit reviewed here by Petlover4life:

This little camera looks pretty cool for those who are interested in getting a camera without all the fuss of tapes and allowing to upload directly into your computer (neat USB foldout plug). This is probably made due to the Youtube phenomenon and for those who like to be in the moment and upload right after the moment for their Youtubing. “> saw some funny reviews on this camera too. Neato!
