Oatmeal recall

A nationwide recall for dry oatmeal has been announced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Malt-O-Meal Co. is voluntarily recalling oatmeal that contains instant nonfat dry milk that may be contaminated with salmonella. The FDA cautions consumers to be careful when purchasing the preceding products.
The specific products include: “Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal” and “Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal” packets sold in “Variety” cartons distributed. Packetts with the carton date codes between June 30, 2009 and October 28, 2010 are included in the recall.
